Our Story
First Time Meeting
As musicians volunteering at City Church in Beijing in 2019, Michelle and Jonah first met at a rehearsal early in the morning. After rehearsal, they both went out for a coffee and the rest was history.
First I Love You
During Christmas Eve in 2019, Michelle and Jonah had just finished performing at church. They finally held hands for the first time and went to karaoke that same night as girlfriend and boyfriend.
Proposal
During the year of COVID, it was Jonah's birthday in September when he had just started his new job. Michelle and Jonah were headed home to celebrate with pizza for dinner when Jonah broke the question.
First Time Living Together
A couple of weeks after their legal marriage, Michelle finally left her apartment of 4 years in Sanlitun to rent a home with Jonah in Dongcheng District. The two have been living there ever since.
